Over-Molded
As a vertically integrated cable manufacturer, Storm—Cable Solutions Group has
the custom cable manufacturing capability to offer application-specific problem
solving. In addition to design and manufacture of raw cable to meet specific
customer needs, we offer in-house design and tooling of insert and injection
molded connectors, backshells, strain reliefs, yokes, breakouts, and grommets.
Our custom over-molded cable assemblies can be manufactured to meet a wide
variety of project specifications, and we will work with your design engineers
to address whole-system requirements. Design criteria can include, but are not
limited to, electrical performance, termination and connector options,
environmental and mechanical performance, and color matching. Medical
assemblies are a specialty. Assemblies are UL and CSA certified as required.
